The University of Manitoba is launching a new Master of Human Rights program that will help Winnipeg take its place as the leading city for human rights education and scholarship in Canada.

The Centre for Human Rights Research already organizes an annual inter-disciplinary course for law and graduate students.

Students have ample opportunities to engage in human-rights-related study in a variety of faculties and departments across the university. From Law to Kinesiology and Recreation Management and more, expert faculty members offer courses with a significant human rights component. Many faculties and departments are continuing to develop their human rights study offerings and some are developing a concentration in human rights.
