Projects highlighted on the right demonstrate the breadth and depth of human rights research being conducted at the University of Manitoba. The Centre for Human Rights Research has particular expertise in interdisciplinary water rights research and research on sexual and reproductive rights. We have also fostered research to support the new National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation at the University of Manitoba.
CHRR director Prof. Karen Busby is co-editing a new University of Manitoba Press series of books that explore the quest for social justice and basic rights and freedoms.
